Double-Conversion UPS Protects Equipment Against Damage, Downtime and Data Loss This 9SX on-line double-conversion UPS system maintains perfect output by converting AC input to DC, then reconverting UPS output to fully regulated sine wave AC. Featuring surge suppression, true on-line operation with pure sine wave output and zero transfer time between on-line and battery modes, the 9SX700 provides the highest level of AC power protection and battery backup for medical, light industrial, automation and other mission-critical IT applications where space is limited, but premium power reliability is essential. Reliable Battery Backup Keeps You Operational Through Power Outages The field-replaceable, hot-swappable internal battery modules allow you to work through short power failures and give you enough time to safely save files and shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. Exclusive ABM technology increases battery life by 50 percent and closely monitors battery health to provide advanced notice when batteries need replacing. Optional Gigabit Network Interface Offers 24/7 Remote Access The NETWORK-M2 network card (sold separately) enables full remote configuration and management, including load shedding, reboots of connected equipment and safe shutdowns. UPS firmware can also be flashed remotely through the NETWORK-M2 without dropping the load, so you don't have to plan for downtime. The card meets both UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 standards for cybersecurity, which were developed to address the vulnerability of connected devices to known malware/exploits and to protect business from these risks. An optional Environmental Monitoring Probe Gen 2 (EMPDT1H1C2, sold separately) provides a variety of environmental monitoring capabilities, including temperature and humidity conditions. NEMA 5-15R Outlets Protect Your Connected Components Six NEMA 5-15R outlets provide connected equipment with pure sine wave AC output and allow you to monitor power consumption down to the outlet group level. Power provided by these outlets is filtered to protect connected equipment against damaging surges and line noise. Four outlets are grouped into two load banks that let you shed non-critical loads to extend runtime for critical loads. | |

Learn more about UPS General Purpose
What is an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)?
A UPS, or Uninterruptible Power Supply, is a device that provides a backup power source for critical systems in the event of a power outage or other disruption in the main power supply. It is typically used to protect computers, servers, and other electronic equipment from damage or data loss due to power failures or surges.
There are several benefits to using a UPS:
Protection against power outages: A UPS provides a continuous, stable power supply during outages, allowing critical systems to continue operating until a generator or other backup power source can be activated.
Protection against power surges: A UPS can also protect against power surges, which can cause damage to electronic equipment or data loss.
Improved system uptime: By providing a stable power supply, a UPS can help to reduce downtime and improve the uptime of critical systems.
Data protection: A UPS can help to protect against data loss by providing a temporary power source during an outage, allowing users to save their work and shut down systems properly.
Increased system reliability: A UPS can improve the reliability of critical systems by providing a backup power source in case of power disruptions. This can be particularly important for businesses that rely on their computer systems to operate.

I was very impressed. I was able to find nearly all of the components I wanted, and most were available for same day shipping as well. The interface was easy to navigate, though fighting through some of the technical terms used to describe components would not be an easy task for someone less educated in computers. The only suggestion I can think of is adding a glossery of terms for those who do not understand the many acronyms used. ANONYMOUSMore Reviews
